Potluck Dinner and Meeting

Kick off the year with food, friends and fun! The potluck is a time for new members and those who may have been around awhile to meet and get better acquainted with sisters and friends. Bring your favorite potluck dish, your favorite summer memories and vacation snapshots and a hearty appetite!
Hillwood Estate Tour

Join your sisters for a tour of the home of Marjorie Merriweather Post and explore the French and Russian art collections and gardens. Cost is $13 per person. Free parking is available.

Hula Dancing

Forget the snow and think about tropical sunshine, palm trees swaying in the breeze and Hawaiian music. One of the members of Ke Anuenue Punahele, a local Hawaiian dance group, is going to teach us some hula basics. Wear your dancing clothes – grass skirts optional.
Panhellenic Play

Support the Panhellenic fundraiser and see another entertaining play! This year’s play is “The Secret Garden.” AXiD sisters will meet up as usual for dinner and laughs beforehand.
Founder's Day Celebration

Come join your sisters for a celebration and ceremony in honor of our Fraternity’s 115th year of sisterhood. Help honor the Order of the Rose, Pearl and Diamond members. Be sure to wear your Quill. Invitations will be sent closer to the event.
Hands On DC
Saturday, April 26, 9am, Cardoza Senior High School, Washington, DC
Roll up your sleeves and join your sisters in making a DC public school a better place to be. Assignments will be made closer to the date. Hands On DC is an all-volunteer project that creates better schools and brighter futures for students in the District of Columbia. Thousands of volunteers have a great time each spring as they join together for a one-day work-a-thon that improves conditions in the public schools and raises money for college scholarships. Since 1995 more than 19,000 volunteers have created a better environment for learning in over 100 schools and have collected more than $400,000 to help local students pay for further education. This will be NVAA’s fourth year participating.
Sister Social

Cap off the year with an annual dinner that gives sisters a chance to catch up and wrap up for the summer and get a chance to meet current collegiates who are home for the summer or starting their new journey in the Washington, DC area. A donation will be collected as dinner will be catered.
